
Coaching Workshop: Cultivating Compassionate Presence
This 3-hour experiential workshop is designed to help participants reconnect with themselves and others through inner listening, mindfulness, and heart-based expression.
Grounded in the principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and Mindfulness-Based Strategic Awareness (MBSAT), this session explores the foundational skills of self-awareness and empathic communication in an embodied and accessible way. Through guided meditation, journaling, reflective exercises, and partner dialogue, participants will learn to communicate with greater clarity, care, and presence.
You will leave with a deeper understanding of how to:

The Facilitator
Mayuko Vermeulen is a certified Non-Violent Communication (NVC) and Mindfulness Coach. She is dedicated to offering comprehensive guidance and support to her clients, empowering them to cultivate inner peace and achieve optimal well-being. She holds a deep conviction in the importance of harmonising the body, mind and heart. Through her work, she aspires to create a warm and sacred space, both within and around us, inviting individuals to reconnect with the present moment and restore inner alignment.

This workshop is open to anyone curious about deepening their emotional awareness, improving communication, or reconnecting with themselves and others. It’s especially supportive for those navigating stress, relationship dynamics, or emotional overwhelm. No prior experience in mindfulness or NVC is required.

NVC is a framework developed by Marshall Rosenberg that supports honest, compassionate expression and listening. It focuses on understanding needs, feelings, and creating connection, even in conflict. This workshop draws on NVC principles in a grounded, somatic way.

Mindfulness-Based Strategic Awareness Training (MBSAT) is a structured mindfulness program developed by Dr. Juan Humberto Young, designed to cultivate strategic awareness, emotional intelligence, and decision-making clarity, particularly for people in high-stress or high-performance environments.

You’ll be guided through a blend of meditation, journaling, reflective exercises, and partner dialogues. The atmosphere is gentle, spacious, and non-judgmental. You are always invited to participate at your own pace.

No. While the workshop may feel therapeutic, it is not a replacement for therapy. It is a facilitated group experience rooted in embodied awareness, communication skills, and self-inquiry.
