Soma Haus – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all treatments, classes, workshops, events, packages, gift cards, and related services provided by Soma Haus ("Soma Haus", "we", "us", "our"). By booking, purchasing, attending, or participating in any service at Soma Haus, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

Soma Haus is a multidisciplinary wellness and healthcare space offering, but not limited to:

  • Bodywork and manual therapies (e.g. craniosacral therapy, remedial / integrative massage, physiotherapy, clinical pilates and /somatic therapies etc)

  • Psychotherapy, psychological support, diagnostic and psychometric assessments, counselling, and mental health support

  • Group classes (e.g. movement, breathwork, sound bath meditation, yoga nidra, strength and pilates, reformer pilates etc)

  • Workshops, trainings, community events, and educational offerings

Services may be delivered in-person or online, depending on the offering.

2. Not Medical Emergency Care

Soma Haus does not provide emergency medical services. If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, you must seek immediate assistance from emergency services or a hospital.

Some services may complement medical or psychological care but are not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a qualified medical professional unless explicitly stated.

3. Eligibility & Informed Consent

By engaging in Soma Haus services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. For minors, written parental or guardian consent is required.

  • You have disclosed relevant medical, psychological, or physical conditions prior to treatment or participation

  • You understand the nature, scope, benefits, and potential risks of the service

  • You voluntarily consent to participate and may withdraw consent at any time

4. Health Disclosure & Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete health information, including but not limited to:

  • Medical conditions

  • Mental health history (where relevant)

  • Injuries, surgeries, or pregnancy

  • Medications that may affect participation

Failure to disclose relevant information may increase the risk of adverse outcomes, for which Soma Haus is not liable.

5. Scope of Practice & Professional Boundaries

All practitioners at Soma Haus operate within their professional scope of practice, training, and ethical guidelines.

  • Practitioners may refuse or modify treatment if it is deemed unsafe or outside scope

  • No guarantees are made regarding outcomes or results

  • Touch-based therapies are always conducted with consent and clear boundaries

Any inappropriate behaviour toward staff or other clients will result in immediate termination of services without refund.

6. Appointments, Bookings & Punctuality

Treatments & All Private Sessions

  • Appointments must be booked in advance

  • Late arrival may result in a shortened session without fee reduction

  • Sessions ending late due to client tardiness will still conclude at the scheduled time

Classes & Group Classes

  • Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time

  • Late entry may not be permitted to avoid disruption

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Treatments & Private Sessions

  • Minimum 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling

  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) or no-shows will be charged 100% of the session fee

  • A request to cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours will incur a 50% charge of appointment fee

Classes, Workshops & Events

  • Minimum 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling

  • No refunds for late cancellations or non-attendance

Soma Haus reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to practitioner illness, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, clients will be offered a reschedule or credit.

8. Packages and Class Passes

Pilates Packages

  • Clinical Pilates 5-Session Package: Valid for 3 months from the date of first use

  • Clinical Pilates 10-Session Package: Valid for 6 months from the date of first use

  • All Clinical Pilates Packages are strictly non-transferable and non-sharable

  • Pilates & Strength Training 10-Session Package: Valid for 6 months from the date of first use

  • Pilates & Strength Training 20-Session Package: Valid for 6 months from the date of first use

  • All Pilates & Strength Training Packages are strictly non-transferable and non-sharable

  • Duet Pilates & Strength Training 10-Session Package: Valid for 6 months from the date of first use

Group Class Packges

  • 5-Class Package: Valid for 3 months from the date of first use

  • 10-Class Package: Valid for 6 months from the date of first use

  • 20-Class Package: Valid for 6 months from the date of first use

  • Class Packages can be used for any of the weekly group classes.

  • Class Packages are not valid for any special workshops / events / support groups

  • Only the 20-class package may be shared, and only with one other person

  • All other packages and passes are strictly non-transferable and non-shareable

Expiry & Extensions

  • All packages have fixed expiry dates and unused sessions will be forfeited after expiry

  • If a client is travelling or experiencing medical issues, they may inform Soma Haus in advance

  • Package extensions may be granted at Soma Haus’ discretion, on a case-by-case basis, and are not guaranteed.

9. Fees, Payments & Refunds

  • Full payment is required prior to or at the time of service

  • Prices are subject to change without notice

  • Promotional rates, sliding scale, or subsidised services are limited and conditional

  • Refunds are generally not provided once services are rendered. Approved refunds or credits are issued at Soma Haus’ discretion.

10. Gift Cards

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash

  • Validity periods apply as stated at purchase

  • Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced

  • Gift cards can be used to offset Class Packages, Pilates Packages, Pilates & Strength Training Packages and terms of conditions of packages will apply accordingly

11. Confidentiality & Data Protection

  • Personal and health information is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws

  • Information may be shared only with practitioner consent, legal obligation, or risk of harm

  • Group settings cannot guarantee confidentiality of shared personal information

  • the Clients are encouraged to exercise discretion when sharing in group environments.

12. Photography, Video & Media

Occasionally, Soma Haus may take photographs or videos for educational or promotional purposes.

  • Consent will be obtained where identifiable individuals are involved

  • You may opt out at any time by informing the team

13. Liability & Assumption of Risk

By participating in Soma Haus services, you acknowledge that:

  • Wellness and movement-based activities involve inherent risks

  • You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soma Haus, its directors, staff, and practitioners shall not be liable for:

  • Injury, loss, or damage sustained during or after services

  • Personal property loss or damage on premises

14. Force Majeure

Soma Haus shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or utility failures.

15. Code of Conduct

Clients are expected to:

  • Treat staff and other clients with respect

  • Follow studio and clinic guidelines and safety instructions

  • Maintain appropriate hygiene and attire

Soma Haus reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these standards.

16. Amendments

Soma Haus may update these Terms at any time. The most current version will be available on our website or upon request. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
