NATUROPATH & PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Sigrid is a naturopath hailing from the USA and Canada. She spent eight years obtaining a doctorate in naturopathic medicine, and is a registered member of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (Canada), the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians. After moving to Singapore to set up her private practice, Sigrid obtained an additional diploma in psychotherapy to better help her patients effect positive changes in their lives.

Naturopathy complements traditional medical care by focusing keenly on dietary changes, lifestyle changes and natural agents, such as nutritional supplements, medicinal herbs and homeopathy. Sigrid has extensive experience managing an array
of medical diagnoses, and finds that naturopathy is particularly beneficial for patients suffering from fatigue, hormonal imbalances (thyroid, menstrual issues, pre-diabetes, weight management), skin problems (especially acne, eczema and hives), recurrent infections, chronic allergies, and digestive issues. Sigrid also is experienced in supporting patients through surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, and helping patients manage medication side effects.

TCM PHYSICIAN

Dr Low graduated from the double degree programme of Biomedical Sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine at NTU in 2014 and was awarded with the Chinese Government Scholarship for outstanding academic achievements during her time in Beijing.

She has been in active practice since graduation, treating patients with various ailments such as pain management, gastrointestinal issues, holistic weight loss management, etc. Through her years of practice, she has developed strong interest in paediatric care. As a mother herself, she understands the anxiety of a parent and the rigors of treating young patients. Hence she always aims to deliver her personal blend of gentle yet robust therapy methods, combining both medicinal and paediatric tuina treatment approaches to meet her patient’s needs.

Dr Low strongly believes that there’s immense potential to be unlocked from TCM that can be harnessed for treatment with modern-day medicinal technology.

AMILI ASIA

Dr Alexandra Lim holds a PhD in Neuropsychiatry and a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition. She currently helps out with commercial initiatives at Amili, where she focuses on sales and medical education to bridge scientific insights with clinical practice. Her background spans both research and applied healthcare, giving her a unique perspective on translating science into practical impact for patients and practitioners. In her free time she enjoys yoga, pilates, and cooking, activities that nourish both mind and body.

SOMATIC PRACTITIONER & EDUCATOR

Layla graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Psychology, and her current involvement lies in nervous system education and modalities that facilitate deep rest and restoration for healing.

Her current involvement blossomed from a personal journey with health, which culminated in an endless succession of physical and mental symptoms. Through her journey, she sees to how holding patterns and trauma can play out in the body, but more so, the body’s intelligence to develop new body-brain pathways for sustainable health and liberation from within. She hopes to help others understand the importance of mind-body education but equally the power of being witnessed on an individual level. At the heart of her work is the belief that healing is two-fold – with the Self & Others.

At her own time, she continues to elevate her awareness on modalities surrounding the body, mind and spirit.
