Inner Sanctuary

A 3-DAY FREE Immersion into Nervous System Restoration & Somatic Approaches

8 - 10 April 2026 | Online

This is a 3-day group immersion for individuals experiencing stress, overwhelm, physical and/or psycho-emotional symptoms, as well as for those wishing to deepen their overall well-being through a relationship with the body.

Over the course of three days, you will be gently guided toward understanding the body through a nervous system lens, inviting a shift away from fixing or overriding symptoms and toward listening to the intelligence they carry. You’ll explore the foundations of nervous system resilience, reflect on your relationship with your body, and begin opening to new narratives that support restoration, capacity, and self-trust.

The immersion involves a blend of nervous system education, somatic movement, deep rest practices, self-inquiry, as well as multi-disciplinary frameworks for health and recovery.

Held within a supportive group space, you will experience shared presence and reflection while honouring individual pacing and safety.

This Immersion is supportive if you are...

Desiring to enhance your overall well-being

  • You would like to better manage stress, build resilience, and support your nervous system in a way that is sustainable

  • You would like to deepen your connection with your body - to understand its sensations, emotional signals, and needs

  • You’re open to considering an alternative perspective to health - one with fewer “to-dos”, less fixing, and instead, with more ease, trust and rhythm

Deep in your health & healing journey

  • Your system often moves between hyperarousal (stress, anxiety, shallow breathing, inflammation) and hypoarousal (fatigue, low mood, numbness, lowered immunity), and you’re longing for stability, regulation and enhanced capacity

  • You’ve tried multiple interventions but with limited relief, and have this gut feeling that your symptoms may be reflecting underlying nervous system or stress-related patterns

  • You’re curious about somatic, body-based approaches that support healing beyond cognitive frameworks

  • You’re open to being held in community - where shared experiences, gentle accountability and collective momentum becomes supportive

Our Journey over 3 days

Day 1: The Realm of Your Nervous System

We’ll delve into the fundamentals of the Nervous System, and you’ll be invited to consider your stress responses and/or health symptoms with compassion. You’ll be guided into an experiential exploration of the different states of the Nervous System within yourself. You’ll open new body-brain pathways that stays with you beyond the session.

Day 2: The Voices Behind Stress

We’ll explore stress through a compassionate lens, recognising it as language of the Nervous system rather than something to “fix” or “regulated away”. You’ll be guided into gentle self-inquiry, listening to the voices held within your stress responses, and reflect on your relationship with stress (and rest). Through science and somatic exploration, this day opens new ways of relating to yourself from within.

Day 3: Your Body as An Inner Sanctuary

In the final day of the immersion, we’ll honour our body as a sanctuary - to be tended to and nourished lovingly. We will explore what supports sustainable health and nervous system resilience, with a focus on capacity building, resourcing… and lots of space. To close, you’ll reconnect with your living, palpable body through a somatic movement journey.

Feel ease, spaciousness and grounding within the sanctuary of your body.

About your Facilitator

Layla has always been fascinated by the human condition. As a child, she was drawn to understanding the body, mind and spirit - particularly the idea of harmony and the quiet search for the “self”.

After graduating from university, life took an unexpected turn. She found herself grappling with physical and psycho-emotional symptoms, later understood through the lens of chronic stress and complex trauma. What followed was a non-linear healing journey, unfolding through seasons of exploration, experimentation and learning. With time, she came to understand that healing from the inside out cannot be rushed. It asks for a multi-disciplinary approach that respects the body’s intelligence, heart-centred practitioners, and the wisdom of those walking the path home to themselves.

Layla is certified in Somatic Movement, Yoga Nidra, Yin / Restorative Yoga, Sound Therapy and Nervous System Science. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Psychology and a Diploma in Psychology Studies, and continues deepening her understanding through both formal and lived inquiry.

Beyond certifications, her work is shaped by embodiment - the integration of what we learn into the moments that truly challenge us. Layla endeavours to share all that has supported her and the lives she had the grace of working with. As your facilitator, she hopes to share practical insights held with deep humanness for the messy and deeply personal path of coming home to the self.
