Jason Woolley
Counsellor, Psychotherapist & Coach
Jason is a British counsellor, psychotherapist and executive coach who has lived and worked in Singapore since 2012. He brings an integrative, attachment-focused approach to his work, drawing on Emotionally Focused Therapy, Attachment-Focused EMDR and a systemic lens to help clients understand the patterns that keep them stuck and build the emotional resources to move through them.
Jason works with individuals, couples and professionals navigating anxiety, relationship strain, grief, burnout and the disorientation that often comes with life transitions, including the particular pressures of relocating and rebuilding a life in a new country. He has a strong interest in men's mental health, supporting clients through stress, addictive or compulsive patterns and the quieter forms of struggle that can go unspoken. Around half of his clients are men, and he creates a space where that struggle can be named directly rather than managed alone.
A long-term practitioner of Tai Chi Chuan and its related meditative and internal energy arts, Jason also draws lightly on embodied and somatic awareness in his sessions, alongside his clinical training. He has a particular interest in supporting clients living with chronic pain and chronic illness, drawing on his clinical hypnotherapy training to support pain management and the mind-body dimensions of long-term health conditions. Before retraining as a therapist, he spent close to twenty years in senior international leadership roles, an experience that shapes his understanding of the pressures facing professionals and executives today.
