Dr Ruth Norwinda
Senior Physiotherapist, Craniosacral Therapist & Pilates Instructor
Dr Ruth Norwinda graduated from Boston University (USA) with a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training in 2013 and a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2015, after which she became fully registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council in Singapore.
Ruth has extensive experience working with both neurological and musculoskeletal conditions across acute and chronic populations, including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease, myelopathy, polytrauma, and post-operative joint replacements.
She is particularly passionate about supporting adults with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, incorporating techniques such as craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation to support pain management and overall function. As a certified Pilates instructor, she also integrates Pilates-based rehabilitation into her treatments to improve strength, control, and movement quality.
Ruth believes that every patient’s journey is unique, and tailors her interventions accordingly. At Soma Haus, she works within a multidisciplinary approach that places patients at the centre of care, ensuring each treatment plan is thoughtfully individualised.
